NIXITEK

Find out what is actually wrong with your IT before anyone sells you a fix

We run security, cloud and support for growing companies across Dallas and Irving. Every relationship starts with a fixed-price assessment, and the findings are yours to keep whether you hire us or not.

Onsite across the DFW metroplex. Remote support nationwide. Fixed monthly pricing, no per-ticket billing.

Sample assessment findings

Illustrative
HIGH
No multi-factor authentication on emailA single reused password gives an attacker your mailbox, your invoices and your contact list. Typically fixed in under a week.
HIGH
Backups have never been restore-testedJobs report success. Nobody has confirmed the data comes back. Untested backups fail at the worst moment.
MED
Nine former staff accounts still activeEach one is a live route in that nobody is watching, and a licence you are paying for.
MED
Cloud spend up 40% with no ownerInstances sized for a load test that finished last year, plus development environments running overnight.
LOW
DMARC not enforced on your domainAnyone can send mail that appears to come from your company. Configuration change, no licence cost.
Every finding carries a severity, a business consequence and a fixed remediation price.

How an engagement starts

Step 1

Scoping call

Twenty minutes on what you run and what is going wrong. You get a scope and a number. No slide deck, no discovery workshop, no second call to give you the price.

Step 2

Fixed-price assessment

One to two weeks reviewing security, cloud, support and spend. You get a findings register with severities and remediation prices.

Step 3

You choose the order

Fix the high-severity items first, defer the rest, or take the document elsewhere. There is no obligation to buy the remediation from us.

Step 4

Ongoing, if it fits

Fixed monthly support, security monitoring and cloud management. Reviewed quarterly against what actually changed.

Why work with a smaller firm

The provider who wrote your assessment should be the person who answers the phone at 4pm on a Friday.

You talk to the person doing the work

No account manager relaying messages to an engineer you never meet, and no ticket queue where your context gets lost between three people. The person who mapped your environment is the person who fixes it.

No reseller commissions

We are not paid to recommend a platform. Where you buy licences through us, the margin is disclosed in writing.

You own everything

Domains, cloud accounts, backups and documentation are registered in your company name. Leaving is a handover, not a hostage negotiation.

What we are not

We are a new firm and we are not going to pretend otherwise. There is no wall of logos here and no forty-year history, because we have neither. What we offer instead is a fixed scope, a written deliverable, and a first engagement you can judge us on before anything ongoing is signed.

Common questions

What does Nixitek do?

We provide cybersecurity, managed cloud services on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, helpdesk IT support, IT consulting, audits and compliance readiness, backup and recovery, and hosting and SEO management. Most clients start with an assessment and add services from there.

Which areas do you serve?

Onsite work across the DFW metroplex, including Dallas, Irving, Las Colinas, Fort Worth, Plano, Arlington, Richardson and Frisco. Remote support anywhere in the United States.

How does pricing work?

Ongoing services are a fixed monthly fee, usually per user, so your bill does not spike in a bad month. Projects and assessments are fixed price, quoted after scoping. We do not bill per ticket.

Are you a reseller for Microsoft or AWS?

We are not paid commission for recommending any platform. Where you buy licences through us, the margin is disclosed. Advice funded by the vendor being recommended is not advice.

What happens on the first call?

Twenty to thirty minutes. You describe your setup and what is going wrong. We tell you what we would look at, roughly what it costs, and whether we are the right fit. No obligation and no presentation.

Start with an assessment, not a contract

A short scoping call, then a fixed-price review of your security, cloud and support setup. You keep the findings either way.
